Mint Street Park (Public Engagement)

Mint Street Park in the London Borough of Southwark was going through an improvement plan. The council commissioned me to create a public engagement event in order to investigate what people regarded as priority and what were their concerns about the park.

The event displayed a map of the park, with designs of all proposed improvements. An additional map was used to collect comments from people about specific desires and concerns. Finally, participants were invited to signpost the corners of the park that they particularly loved, disliked or that they were indifferent to, by positioning balloons of different colours in the desired points.
